Does your character have any close ties to existing canon characters?
Oliver's family and friends are in game at this point and he is looking forward to reconnecting with them.
Why do you think your character would work in this setting?
Oliver would work well in this setting. He is used to feeling like he hasn't fit in anywhere since leaving the island and he would see coming to New Dodge as another step in his life of adventure. He also wants a safe place to explore his new powers as Spectre. He is hoping being around his family and friends again will stop him from losing his humanity, which he considers a real risk having helped to birth a completely new muitiverse. Oliver willingly came to New Dodge when Eli asked him because he felt as though his family needed him as much as he needed them.
How do you plan to expand their CR?
Oliver will enjoy connecting with his family and friends again, but he will also be reaching out to new people trying to connect to his human half again. He'll also want to reach out to people with powers to explore his "ghostly" half. Despite all the changes in his life, Oliver is still the charming man he was and he will enjoy meeting new people because he thrives on that. He wants that slice of normal life he's always craved, he wants to be a father and a husband without the spectre of tragedy hanging over his head.
What will your character do for work?
Oliver would like to work in the Greenhouse helping use his "spark" to grow crops.
Inventory:
Oliver will be coming in with his Spectre costume and nothing else.

Third-Person Sample:
Oliver knew he wouldn't come back from this the moment he opened his mouth. Creating an entire multiverse was taxing even for the power of Spectre. He thought of Mia and Felicity, of William and John. He even through of Tommy and all the others he'd lost . He thought of his friends below him new and old focusing on each trait that makes them...well them. Love, hope, courage, peace and truth he lets these things fill him and explode out of his mouth. Time slowed down and a man appeared in front of him looking both amused and curious. "We could use a man like you on our side," he said.
Oliver glared. "I'm a little busy right now," he says his own voice echoing around the bubble of silence. If the stranger was intimidated he didn't show it simply smiling at Oliver like he had expected that response. "I see that," he said dryly, "but I think you'll want to hear what I have to say." Oliver sighed and turned so he was looking the man right in the eye. "I'm listening," he says his tone clearly implying that the stranger is on a time frame and it is quickly running out. "You're family needs you," the man said calmly, "they are struggling without you. I know it isn't the afterlife you may have been promised, but I think you might like this better."
Oliver turns back to look at his friends watching his fight with the Anti Monitor with horrified and concerned expressions. He was leaving the new multiverse in good hands. The Age of Heroes would be a good one and he knew not one of them would begrudge him the right to peace after everything he had done. He turns back to the man and nods tightly holding out his hand. The man takes it and they shake firmly. With a deep breath Oliver turned his face to the sky and let his power go...it was time for Oliver Queen to become someone else...to become something else.
First-Person Sample:
Dear John,
I'm writing this letter to you because you are the one who needs it. I know you are going to struggle with what to do next once I'm gone, but you don't need to worry. I've always admired you because you landed on your feet no matter I was grateful to have someone so steady at my side. Half of the decisions I made, good or bad, I made because I knew I had you to back me up. Everyone even you needs someone to hold them up when they are about to fall and it is my hope that you and Team Arrow will be that for each other.
It's hard to put into words how much you mean to me John Diggle, you never pulled any punches, never told me what I wanted to hear, but what I needed to. It made me a better person and a better hero. I will always remember the early days when it was just the three of us as the best days of my life. You and Felicity made my life better. in different ways. You are my brother and I know I am leaving Star City in good hands along with the rest of Earth. Good luck and thank you.
